Saturday February 4, 2023, 9:00 AM to 4 PM
Dakota Creek Shipyard, Galley, 301 Q Avenue, Anacortes WA 98221
The Back to Basics format is based on actually working AA’s 12 steps within this 1 day program encompassing four 60-90 min sessions.
Please arrange to have a sharing partner/Sponsor/Sponsee for this trip through the 12 Steps. This format is derived from “Beginners Meetings” as they were held in the early days of AA with very good success in getting sober and staying sober through application of these 12 principals.
Working all 12 Steps enables an alcoholic to relieve the obsession to drink, begin living a sober life and help other suffering alcoholics. Most of all, by working and re-working AA’s 12 Steps the recovered alcoholic will be of service to their family and community.
*** NOTE*** Not Just for Newcomers
  • * The continuity of these meetings and the space restrictions require prior signup with commitment to attend all four sessions.
  • * There will be a working lunch break, so bring a lunch.
  • * We will begin promptly at 9 AM
  • * The basic textbook is Alcoholics Anonymous, 4th edition
  • * We will also use the book Back to Basics as a guide.
