This is where we discuss all motions coming up for vote, hear the background information and are reminded of how the Assembly conducts our business. Elections are Coming!
Elections are Coming! Now, it may seem like I'm jumping the shark here, but elections for District 46 will be taking place in our October meeting. The official positions open for election are DCM, Alt DCM, Treasurer, Alt Treasurer, Secretary and Alt Secretary. Shu, our Area 72 webservant, will be facilitating the elections. Once these folks are elected, they gather together all their resources and invite district members to qualify for serving in the various chair positions. We DO have a district handbook which describes most of the positions. Appointed and elected servants will make themselves available to describe their experience with service and for guidance and training. Most importantly, GSRs need to begin reaching out in order to find their replacements for the next rotation which begins in January of 2027. a page that talks about actual experiences folks have had from first becoming GSRs to participating at the preconferences, report back, pre-assembly and finally, fully participating in the Assembly. For Reports: Use Your Mouse
We are now taking the GSR and elected/appointed reports and putting them online in order to more fully share our experience, strength and hope. It also allows folks who cannot make it to the business meeting the ability to access this information. You can find them by mousing over the GSR tab at the top of the screen and selecting "GSR Reports" in the sub-menu. Elected/Appointeds can submit reports on the Trusted Servants page. GSRs can do so right here, on the GSR page, just below. Or submit your report in an email to [email protected] |
