February 2025 Grapevine/Lit Report
I attended the Area 72 Grapevine/Literature Quarterly on February 15, 2025 via Zoom. Most of the discussion referred to the Grapevine. We were shown how to access the GV Rep resource page on the Grapevine website. There are wonderful documents on this site including the GV Rep Handbook and Workbook, a Traditions checklist and several scripts for AA plays. We spent less time on the Literature side, but I think that we ran out of time discussing the Grapevine. The discussion was lead by the newly elected Area 72 Grapevine/Literature Chair. It was very informative and I look forward to future quarterly meetings.
Thank you for letting me be of service.

January 2025 Grapevine/Literature report
Grapevine/Literature Chair
District 46
Thank you for the opportunity to be your Grapevine/Literature Chair. Having subscribed
to the Grapevine for many years and having accumulated and seen the development of
some of the literature over my years in general service, it is an honor to get to learn
even more. I attended the Grapevine/Literature Quarterly in February led by the Area 72
Grapevine/Literature Chair. We spent a lot of time discussing the Grapevine and
learning about the materials that are available for Grapevine Chairs along with the
materials available to the Literature Chairs. The Grapevine website has available a
Workbook for Grapevine Reps along with a Grapevine Representative Handbook. It was
also recommended that we work with Corrections and Treatment Chairs with respect to
the Grapevine and literature. There were also suggestions for members or groups to
sponsor subscriptions to the Grapevine for their groups. In terms of literature, there is
also a Literature Handbook along with a comprehensive Literature Catalog (86 pages,
too long to print) available on the aa.org website. Finally, we discussed future
Quarterlies and where they should be held.
I would also like to add that it was quite enlightening to sit through a PRAASA panel on
the Plain Language Big Book and read about it in BOX 459 published by the GSO.
Thank you for letting me be of service.
